Games not found and unplayable

Have you checked your game library and in the Microsoft Store to see what it says? If you see that it needs to install then you will need to install it since it may have gotten un-installed when you re-installed Windows last night.

Check for any game or Xbox app updates by checking the update option in the Microsoft Store:

I had this message coming up all the time. Made my games unplayable. I went into the system settings, and found ‘full shutdown’ - this took a few minutes but once completed has cured this error message.

I found it works well for stuff like Kinect Sports, and Kinect Adventures. However it makes stuff like Child of Eden and Gunstringer nearly unplayable.

It sounds like the problem is that ring. No, the console doesn't put rings on your disk on purpose as I have had many games that have gotten rings and have been unplayable. The ring would also explain why the game isn't completely unplayable. The only ways
that i have found to fix this is to either take the game to a local game store and see if they have something that can fix the ring (although i believe that rings are basically unfixable) or just buy a new copy of the game, since it is Black Ops it shouldn't
be too expensive.

at least you can play the game! Mine is literally unplayable.

and not in the sense "this frame rate is so bad the game is unplayable." no literally the game won't load, items dissappear, zombies invisible, falling through the floor, black screen freeze etc, that kind of unplayable
