    Games not downloaded properly, redemption codes don't work again


    New XBOX one S pack for Christmas yesterday, Downloaded Forza Hor 3 okay yesterday. Started on the 3 Minecraft redemption cards this morning. Downloaded Minecraft (Full Game) first, loaded well. Then entered the Minecraft Story mode (Complete Adventure
    Full Game) showed up as downloaded about 10 different levels... while that was in progress I entered the Minecraft Explorers Pack redemption card details... pressed enter and it then went to a blue screen with a e in the middle of it and locked up... everything
    stopped. Left it for a bit, still no progress so did a restart via the remote, that didnt fix it. I then held the main console button in until it shut down.

    I then restarted the console and it turned on fine, when I then went back into queue everything that was queued had disappeared bar one level of Minecraft Story mode.

    Si tried re-entering the redemption codes, but says they are already used... where have my downloads gone?

    How do I get them back?

    Games recently downloaded don't work

    • I bought UFC 3 that was on sale, I downloaded it, and every time I try and play it boots me back out saying that it's taking too long to start, please resares and try again. Same thing with my NBA 2k18, it says I don't own that title any more, I followed
      all the steps but it just doesn't work. Any way to help?

    Hi!

    As CrazY suggested, perform a power cycle. If it does not work, some data may be corrupted, so try deleting your profile from the console and re-download it again.

    I had to download a 4 second Xbox update every time I played Forza Horizon...

    That code indicates some kind of marketplace or billing issue.

    What that means to your situation, I don't know.

    I'm guessing the game update didn't work properly. Go into your memory and into the info on that game, delete the title update for it and try it again. It may download properly after.

    Yes, absolutely. I bought a download Xbox 360 code for Dead Red Redemption when it became BC for the Xbox One. I redeemed it on the console and downloaded it no problem. DLC codes for BC games will work too.

    Hey Sky -

    So couple things to note here. First, the codes are NOT "Xbox 360 only" codes so don't worry about that. Next, the Gears of War codes are notoriously picky when it comes to redemption and your accounts must all be lined up properly in order for them to work.
    That means that you'll have to
    migrate your Xbox Live account     from US to match your current physical location - Germany.

    Give that a go and try redeeming your codes again. Let us know how it goes! :)
