    Yesterday everything was working just fine, but when I opened the xbox app today, none of my games were there and when I tried to install or launch any game it says that I need to download Game Services. Obviously while my game services/ xbox/ microsoft store apps being installed and updated. Also my Windows too.

    When I press the install button in the xbox app, it starts downloading game services in the microsoft store, just to shortly after that disappearing from the downloading tab.

    In windows services, there seem to be two gaming services process. One of them is running, while the other one is stopped. When I try to run that one, it just says that Windows could not start Gaming Services on Local Computer, Error 5: Access Denied.

    I've done everything that I found as a 'solution': uninstalling everything via powershell and reinstalling after rebooting, deleting the two key paths in regiedit, troubleshooting microsoft store, repairing/reseting xbox/microsoft store/game services apps, cmd restore health and etc.

    Nothing has worked for me, I've ran out of ideas.

    check in payment and billings, in your microsoft account (from pc) there will appear all purchases and codes redeemed in your account there must appear so that you are sure that it is redeemed, or you can check on your xbox profile (from pc) in my games

    Switching from Game Pass Ultimate To Game Pass Core problem

    Game Pass Core is primarily for console. It won't do anything on PC. You would need either PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate if you're using PC.

    Hi, thanks for the response.

    Where did you mean to uninstall it? I've tried the following:

    • In the Xbox Game Pass for PC app, I've right-clicked on the game where it appears on the left hand side, and selected 'Uninstall Game'. This doesn't do anything - the game remains in the list on the left hand side, and if I click 'Install', I get the same
      issue.
    • I've tried going into Settings -> Apps and Features, to try and find the game in there to uninstall. The game does not appear in the list of installed apps, so I can't uninstall it here.
    • I've tried searching on the hard drive for any files with the game's name. Nothing here to delete.
    • I've uninstalled and re-installed the Xbox Game Pass for PC app. Same problem persists.

    Hi! Thank you. I will try this. Suddenly the other day it worked fine. I thought all were good again but i got same problems. I have cancelled my subscription but i will do one more try. I’ll get back with how it went later
