Games no longer in memory

I recently had Rocket League and Rainbow Six Siege in "My games & Apps" section on my console and I tried to start them up when I received the message saying " Do you own this game" when I clearly do. I downloaded both games on the Xbox store when it was
for free and it wouldn't work. I restarted my console when they disappeared from the memory and it wasn't even in the "Ready to Install" section. My connection to xbox live is fine but it says I need to physically buy the games.

How can I get these games back without buying with my actual money for both games? There should be a section in Xbox Settings that says "Download History"

Xbox cant run skyrim

There could be a lot of reasons why it is no longer working. My guess would be that it has something to do with memory. The game only has so much memory, and therefore can only hold so many things. I would try clearing out the memory (if that can be done).

 

Games with gold

No argument here for bonus free games. I wish I would had held off a bit longer on WWE2K16 as that's a sweet freebie. I'll run out of memory before ever getting old of free games.

Sounds like you had downloaded those two games when there was a special promotion, "Free to Play Days", on Xbox. Rocket League was free to play from June 9-12 and RS6 was free to play from July 28-31. After those dates pass, you will no longer be able to
play the games, even if you downloaded them. You will need to purchase the full rights to those games if you wish to continue playing!

Then how come I was able to play both games August 1st? You did answer the question but I was still able to play both games that day.

 

Could've been an additional day or some special leading to the launch of Xbox One S, but at this moment you will need to pay for the titles if you wish to continue playing.

Thanks for posting. It's possible the Free to Play days for Rainbow Six: Siege ran a bit over the stated time which would be why you were able to access the game on August 1, 2016. This can also vary depending on your time zone/physical location. If you
would like to continue playing the game, you will have to purchase it.
