Games missing after turning on brand new xbox

Xbox installed games not showing / missing - how to fix?

I have a new Xbox One X, purchased and set up at the in May 2020 it has a 1TB external drive attached. In the 10 days since we set it up it has repeatedly started up with all or most of the game missing. This has been temporarily fixed by resetting with
the keep games option. But this has happened most days!! How do we stop it. I have read some other questions of a similar nature but have not seen a fix for this yet. I can't get through to xbox on the phone and am about to give up and get a playstation. This
is my last resort

Maybe the XBL profile is corrupt, try removing the profile and adding it back to the console AFTER clearing the cache by following these steps:

Press and hold the power button on the console until it shuts off
Remove the power cord for 30 seconds
Plug it back in, boot up and add your XBL profile again

Note: you will need to know the credentials & password of your XBL account.

Thanks, there have been a few issues with game pass now that you mention it. Will see if thats ongoing

Make sure that you have connected to the game microsoft acccount in which you bought the games maybe there was another account in which you played the games and the other one in which you bought the games.Hope thos helps.
