    I have two games that are unplayable because they keep locking up. AC- Odyssey and Forza Horizon 4 both lock up. AC randomly during gameplay and Forza never gets passed the opening animation.

    I have had XBOXes for 7 years. I have owned 5 XBOXs. This current one is XBOX One X. So I know the drill:

    1. I have powered down / hard reset several times

    2. I have moved the games OFF my 8TB SSD and onto the XBOX internal drive

    3. Un-installed and re-installed

    4. I have removed myself from the XBOX beta and alpha programs

    5. I have RESET the XBOX to factory defaults

    6. yelled an dscreamed

    ... and nothing has worked.

    Of course, NO SUPPORT staff for us and I do not want to send my XBOX to Microsoft for "repair" if I am uncertain this is a hardware problem.

    PS these are the only two games I have that have this issue. I have all the latest AAA game titles and they all work fine.

    Any additional ideas?

    Hi Kyll Demm Aull,

    This is very weird.

    I would like see this solved, but, I have no clue how I can help you.

    Have you tried formatting the SSD? Suddenly this could be some file getting corrupted on your SSD. That's just a guess.

    I don’t care, but absolute appreciate the beauty of a game when it does! AC Odyssey and Forza Horizon are my favorite games with great visuals.
