Discus and support Games launching in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I downloaded For Honor from the Xbox live Gold free games a while ago, but never got around to play it.     Games launching


    So I downloaded For Honor from the Xbox live Gold free games a while ago, but never got around to play it. Now I do wanna play it, but it doesn't let me. On launching, it takes like 15-20 seconds and then shows me this, quote unquote- "An error occurred
    during the system update. For detailed instructions, click help."

    Well I did, but none of that was useful. I tried doing what it said but what 'help' was trying to solve had no connection with the problem. So, how do I play For Honor? One more thing, a few days ago I got a message from 'Xbox Live Messages,' stating that
    I had received a code to claim a bunch of champions in For Honor so I downloaded it. Could that have something to do with this? Anyways, I just wanna play the game, how?

    Game Not Launching

    There is no need to use license transfer, but you have to launch it with the same profile as you originally bought it with. So, make sure you log in with your original account, and there shouldn't be a problem. If you try any other account, you will receive
    the error message you got.

    game launch

    when i launch the game, it freeze in the first screen when he ask you to press any keys, when i press a key, it does nothing, i don't know what to do. And the profil on the bottom right say "no profil selected".

    i run on Windows 10, and i have all the latest updates

    Sorry to hear it. Please try deleting then redownloading the game to see if that helps. If it does not then you may need to try a factory reset. There's an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload them.

    Watch_dogs has never been announced as a launch day game. A launch window game yes, but not a launch day game

    No games will launch

    The process BusGod mentioned is known as power cycling, which is not the same as restarting the console. You can hold the Xbox Console power button for 8 seconds until it turns off, then wait 30 seconds, and then turn it back on. This process is known as
    power cycling and will clear the cache and reset the network card. Let us know if that suggestion worked.

    Sorry to hear it. Please try deleting then redownloading the game to see if that helps. If it does not then you may need to try a factory reset. There's an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload them.
