Games keep crashing on start up

I've thrown in the towel. I was right at 30 days since my Xbox One purchase so I took the unit back to GameStop as a defective unit for exchange. Of course due to Destiny getting released they had no XB1s in stock so I have to wait a week for a new one to
be shipped.

At least I will be getting a working XB1; too bad I can't opt out of future updates until it's known if they're safe or not.

 

So hope they fix this there stupid updates turning people consoles into $500 bricks

 

I'm having the same problem, Some games will load up and begin to play for about 30 seconds or get to the title screen then freeze and crash. Just to kick me right back to the dashboard. I've had nothing but problems with my Xbox One that I payed $100 more
for a stamp on the controller that says "day one"

Yet everyone who waited to buy your product and waited to support your company is enjoying there console. Microsoft you are doing a fine job at killing an life long xbox fans heart.....

I'm about ready to buy a playstation.

 

Anyone find a fix for this? Is everyone having this

Problem in the update preview program? My madden 15 is starting right up but none of my other games. Including destiny! I'm the only one on my friends lit having this problem. My sons Xbox is fine playing all games. And he is not in the preview program.
They really need to stop ignoring this issue. Xbox support on twitter just has you power cycle and reset your router like that is the problem.

Sucks even more MS is saying absolutely nothing as far as acknowleding the issue and when it will be fixed. In the meantime customers are sitting at home with really expensive boxes that dont do anything. smh.

 

My issues also started just after the update. system keeps turning itself off. Tried a factory reset, which seemed to keep it running longer, but not long enough to install a game or do anything. This patch practically bricked it, even if they release a
fix I don't know if my console will stay on long enough to get it. I've been a huge xbox fan, but what good is a console that won't turn on, this is crazy.

 

Been like a week and still can only play madden 15 and ea ufc the rest (titanfall,2k,cod and bf4) all crash now as well as any new game i tey to download which means destiny is out of the picture right now fix your system microsoft and then stop turning
peoples systems into bricks with your constant updates

 

Has anybody tried these troubleshooting steps?

1) Clear the persistent storage

2) Perform a hard reset (unplug everything, hold down the power button for 30 seconds)

3) Delete your profile, and download it to your console again

4) Deleted the internal data of the game that is being affected, and then reinstall it

Try these if at all possible, and respond back if it helped or not. I would like to know

 

Cleared persistsnt storage it did nothingv

Uninstalled all the games that werent workin and reinstalled them they still dont work

Hard reset my console multiple times did nothing

Just tried deleting and redownloading my profile did nothing

Everything was perfdct prior too the latest update

 

None of that worked for me. I've also did the Alternate MAC address thing (settings -> network -> advanced settings -> Alternate MAC address -> it then reboots)

I've tried restoring to factory

I've tried everything listed above and nothing has worked for me. Still waiting on MS to say something helpful instead of trying the steps I've done 10-15 times already with no results.

I have tried everything except factory reset, I can play madden 15 and fifa 14 digital but I cant play fifa 15 demo or forza dics.

 

I was finally able to get mine working. Hopefully this will help someone.

So I picked up my 4th brand new xbox one on Friday. I got it at a different location and the guys at GameStop opened it up and tested it before I left the store. They didnt have one with the kinect so that was the only difference console wise.

They took the TitanFall disc, it installed and started working fine. Then they started doing the download for Forza. Unfortunately their wireless was really slow so I only got to 20% in an hour so we paused the install and installed a few apps and they worked
flawlessly.

Got home, started the forza download back up, was able to play TitanFall with no issues. Started a game in Forza and it locked up on the 2nd race. After that I got the same thing I had before game would start and then kick me back to the home screen. I installed
Destiny and it started up. Said it needed to do an update and the update kept failing. So now I'm like WTF.

Got on the Forza fourms and someone said the issue with forza locking up is due to the updates may not be downloading and installing clean. They also suggested if you're using a wired ethernet connection to switch to wireless and try it out. So I uninstalled
forza, switched to my wireless and let it download. Now the download on wireless was def alot slower than when I'm wired. But it installed and I started the game. It pulled down my saved game from the cloud and I started the 2nd race and everything worked
fine. powered down the xbox it came back on and TitanFall and Forza worked. So then I uninstalled Destiny and reinstalled it. The update went through fine and I was able to play.

Since then I've been able to play TitanFall, Forza, and Destiny no problems. Its weird that the wireless works with no issue but the wired dose not. On the wired side I've opened all the ports and my NAT is open, on the wireless it says my NAT is moderate
but I got no lag, all the downloads work with no issues. I've even been able to download and use the DLC with no problems.

Hopefully this helps you BallLikeDrose1 and others having issues. One other thing to note is I read somewhere that this guy said once he got his working he clears the blu-ray cache before he shuts down and he does a reboot like every 2 days. I'm definitely
going to be doing that moving forward.

 

I have wireless and my games still crash

 

Has anybody tried restoring to factory? Its what xbox support is telling me to do on twitter
