Games keep crashing on loading page and for some reason the 3 lines button isn't working

Pretty much the title.

We've been trying to load a Sonic Frontiers save, which crashes on the loading page and sends me to the dashboard. I would normally suspect a corrupt file however when playing Disney Speedstorm I've been having the same problem intermittently. I have checked for updates and all up to date. I have also found that when I press the 3 lines button on the controller to bring up the options menu in the dashboard I get a black screen which often flashes to the dashboard with a black window (which I'm assuming is where the menu should be).

We've tried clearing cache and soft resets, leaving the power out etc, issues still remain. Any advice?

Apologies for the delay. I checked the insider program as you directed and found we were not enrolled. We left the console for several hours and when we went back to check other profiles this afternoon we found that everything currently seems to be working as it should be on all profiles, so no idea what has fixed it! Thank you very much for replying and trying to help though.

You can check if your console is enrolled in the Insider program and remove it if that's the case, by following these steps:

Download and “open the Xbox Insider Hub and go to Settings > Manage Devices, locating your device marked (current), selecting it, and then selecting Done”.

However, if you're using a stable build, may I know if you notice the same behavior on games when using a different profile registered on your console?

I'm sorry to hear you're not able to play games properly on your Xbox.

Not only that, but I would like to ask, did you try doing a factory reset?

This can be done by opening Settings > system > console info > reset.
Choose “keep my games and apps” instead of “remove everything”.

Note: Make sure you know the credentials for every profile registered on the console.

Additionally, may I know if your console is enrolled in the Xbox Insider program?
