Games instantly quitting mid game

Hi Everyone,

I'm having some issues with 2 games that i have tried from XBOX(Beta), These are Rise of the Tomb Raider and Middle Earth: Shadow of War. I'm unsure if this affects any others at this point.

Both of these games run great, no slow downs or stutters and they initially start up fine but it seems to be when the game has to load in new data or seems to try to save it just instantly crashes and I'm back at the desktop. There is no hanging or lock
ups.

Shadow of war seems to crash within about 20 seconds of loading up. This can be on the main menu or even when its loading the game.

I've tried uninstalling these games and the Xbox(beta) app, checking my graphics drivers are up to date and even doing a fresh install. checking for any updates in Windows. Checking no apps such as Discord etc aren't trying to put their overlays on in game
and even tried when they aren't running.

Also all my games on Steam run with no issues.

My specs are :

Ryzen 7 2700x

Gigabyte X470 AORUS

2x8GB HyperX Predator 3200Mhz

RTX 2070

If anyone knows anything that may help or that i can try it will be very appreciated.

I wish there was an option to either find games in progress or lobbies (or both). There's an option like that in other games so clearly it's not impossible. I hate joining mid-game just to go 0-20 and receiving a loss because I can't move anywhere due to
all the killstreaks (and the worst case: spawn killers/trappers) killing me instantly. Now, I'm no saint - I do quit games thus creating that one spot for some unlucky player. However, there is no need to have that unlucky player with a "search for lobbies"
option.

do they still ban you from quitting early? though the join in mid game was replacing this penalty

I think the fix is really simple. Once you quit the first time you get a 10 minute time out. In other words you can't go back into a game for 10 minutes. You quite the second time you get a 20 minute time out. This will instantly discourage kids who
freak out because the other team got a high kill streak from quitting cause they can't or don't want to wait that long to go back into a match. I also think that they shouldn't let people join mid match also. I hate joinging a game only to have a swarm and
dogs chewing on my butt the second I get into a game.

Those type bans are never permanent, it's meant to encourage fair play and not quitting mid-game which ruins the experience for others in game.
