games installing but not working

I have COD Ghosts, Forza, and Battlefield. COD just stopped working so I uninstalled it and pre-installed it...4 TIMES! Then it just miraculously started working again?! I thought maybe it was the game, but now it's doing the same thing with Forza. It
is frustrating to no end. Please fix this or I'm going e-bay and this can be someone else's problem. I didn't get the Xbox to just watch movies and TV!!!

Black Ops 2 problem/issue

try installing the game, if not then get anew harddrive, my friend had trouble with his 120gb harddrive but once replaced games started working correctly.

I am also having this issue all of a sudden with COD. Worked fine until recently. I also tried reinstalling (once) still won't play. WTF?

This happened to me also and R4P1DzF1R3 suggested to do a hard reset which is were you unplug your console from the back for 6 sec. this seemed to work for me

Here is the process:With the console on, press and hold the power button on the console for 5-8 seconds until it shuts off. Unplug the power supply, wait about 30 seconds and then plug it in and reboot. You should see the green splash screen upon reboot.
It may take a minute to boot all the way to the home screen. If you did not see the green Xbox splash screen, please redo it.

Hello @Brock Hall

With issues like these, we recommend you to try a Soft Factory Rest Xbox Support by selecting Reset and keep my games & apps. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data (without deleting your games or apps) which maybe the cause of the installation issue.

Give the troubleshooting a try and let us know how it goes!

if that does not work you can also try resetting you're console by going to settings>system>restore factory defaults

then you will need to reinstall everything
