Games installed through the Xbox app either crash or give Driver out of date error, Games...

Well because there are a lot of games on a game pass that I'd like to play but can't because of this problem. These just happen to be ones that I have on both. Single-player Halo for one. Multiplay works just fine through steam but I don't own the single-player version on steam. Then there is Minecraft for windows 10 which is only available through the Microsoft Store, that's broken because of this issue.

Sure, but be aware that I have in fact played these games on this PC with these devices, and even through the Xbox app, so the error is not actually relevant beyond the fact that they are happening, and these games work just fine from Steam. SO please don't focus on the games it's not a game issue is an Xbox app issue.

Yes, already used that utility several times at this point, everyone recommends it, but it doesn't solve the problem for me. I'm almost certain it's a registry or certificate issue but I don't know what one(s) it would be. And registry cleaning utilities don't seem to solve the issue, which means windows must think the false setting is valid in some way.

DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) is a great piece of free software to help resolve graphics driver issues and I've used this quite a few times myself, so we can rule that one out.

Also, can you provide your system specs and what version of Windows (including the build number) you're running please.

I've had a quick look (so far). That's a strange problem. The R9 390 is from 2015, but it supports Shader 6.3, so I'm at a bit of a loss as to why it's not working with a clean install of the Radeon drivers. And in case anyone else is reading this, it won't be an issue with any integrated graphics as the FX 8350 doesn't have any (I know, my last PC had an 8350 CPU).

I'll have another look around, can't promise anything though.

Hi Lucas, thanks for getting back to me.

I tried accessing the app settings menu in the settings app, however Sea of thieves is not listed at all. attempting to access it by right clicking the app in the start menu and choosing app settings results in the settings app loading and then immediately crashing and closing out with no error message. Other apps work fine when attempting either method of accessing the app settings menu. I also tried to do the move through the xbox app by clicking the menu button beside the game and choosing manage, other games have a button that says change drive, and this works fine on other games. Sea of thieves however says "This game does not support advanced installation and management features" and does not give the option to move the install.
