Games I paid for are unavalable

There are many games that were bought on the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One that are no longer available for download and play. Such titles have been pulled due to companies
personal choices to pull the games in favor of other platforms. This would include games from franchises such as the teenage mutant ninja turtles and the amazing spider-man.

Even though gamers have already bought the games, the games themselves are gone.
I understand that companies hold the right to sale to whom they please... but if a customer has already bought the product, regardless of the platform, then they should ALWAYS have access to it.

For example:
I switched to the Xbox One when it released, but I kept my Xbox 360 for sentimental reasons.
Years later I decide to hook up the Xbox 360 for my kid only to find out that most of my downloaded (digital) games are no longer available.

This should never happen. With backwards compatibility and play anywhere features on the Xbox One, I expect to be able to
play all the games I purchase. TMNT had titles on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360, yet they are both unavailable.



Even though the companies who own these franchises chose a different console now, shouldn't mean all products from past consoles should be pulled. Microsoft should fight for the right to keep
what they originally had so they don't lose gamers over it.
I'm dedicated to Xbox and I've even considered
switching platforms just to play those games.

Games that come from a franchise related to comic books should not be locked down by a company’s personal gain. Games based off comic
books need to be open to whoever wants to play it, however he/she wants to play it.

everytime i try to get on the youtube app it keep saying youtube is unavalable. and it wont uninstall. i reset the modem and consol and it still saying its unavalable

Did you buy the game for GFWL (Games For Windows Live) or did you buy it through the Xbox LIVE Marketplace?

Games that have been delisted can still usually be be downloaded from your download history. When you purchase digital content (anywhere, not just for Xbox), you're purchasing a license to play the game, not the game itself. So you are bound to licensing
rules.

 

well basically, you have a point, however its not xbox who decides if the game will stay or close, its really the developer that handles that. so the best is to address the developers.
