Games I haven't bought are being installed on my Xbox One

I am having a weird issue with my Xbox One where games I have never purchased are either being automatically downloaded to my Xbox or are ready for me to install. It started with the Preview Program app. I never signed up for it, never even heard of the
program and then a few days ago Subnautica was installed on my Xbox. Then Grid 2 was automatically installed on my console - I know it is the free game of the month for the 360, but I never asked for it, never downloaded it, never wanted it. But those two
items I understand. Both of them are free games, so I was like alright, maybe there is some setting my 11 year old hit on the Xbox that allows these games to be downloaded.

But then I received two premium games without purchasing them. A few days ago Home Front: Revolution (a 60$ game) was installed on my Xbox. I never purchased it and never got an email that it was purchased on my account. I looked at my account history and
my credit card statement and it was never purchased by me.

Then today I decide that I am going to buy Overwatch, so I go to the Store on the Xbox console and instead of letting me buy Overwatch it just asks if I want to install it. Again, I got this 60$ game for free. I never purchased it, I got no email telling
me it was purchased or gifted to my account, and it isn't in my history of purchases page.

I know my 11 year old son couldn't of bought the games because he doesn't know the code that has the be entered for purchases, and again I got no email that the purchases were ever made, the purchases aren't in my account history, and the purchases aren't
on my credit card statement. I just received the games for free. And the discs for the games aren't in the Xbox and left here by his friends. They are being downloaded and playable on the console.

I know it is kind of a nice problem to have, getting these games for free, but I don't want to end up getting in trouble or have my account banned for this. I just think there is some kind of glitch going on.

Games I never bought are installed on my Xbox One HDD.

So, forgive me if this is the result of some well-known XBL perk, but I'm at a loss.

Three games I've never played nor purchased, whether on my own console or someone else's, have been installed onto my hard drive. However, I can not play them; if I select "play", it will just redirect me to the store and attempt to make me purchase it.
The games in question are Assassin's Creed Unity, Assassin's Creed Black Flag and Minecraft.

The two AC games are particularly large, and I'd like to uninstall them since I can't play them. But I don't even know how they got there in the first place. Nobody gets on my Xbox but me. Any suggestions? Is there a way I can play these, or are they simply
dead weight installed by accident?

Was the console purchased brand new or was it used? It sounds like someone may have used the console before you and did not remove all the contents. Their downloads would show on the console, but if they've set a different console as their Home console,
you will not have access to the games unless you purchase them.

 

Usually that's a sign that someone else has your console set as their Home console. If your kid has had any friend's over and they've set it as their Home console, you would be downloading anything they purchase.
