Games I don't own downloading on my Xbox One

Tuned on my Xbox One and found Worms W.M.D, Borderlands 2, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, all downloaded on my Xbox. As well as Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite trying to download but my Xbox ran out of storage. My credit card has not been charged thankfully,
but I don't know where the games came from.

The Xbox One I am playing on is not my home Xbox. My home Xbox is in my living room but its hard drive was already full; so no games downloaded, but nothing was in the downloading queue. When I uninstalled Worms W.M.D and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite they
did not appear in my "Ready to Install" section. Also when I attempt to play either of the remaining Borderlands games it tells me to renew my Xbox Game Pass subscription or to put in the games disk. Finally, when I look at the Borderlands games in the Windows
Store it says they are installed but that I don't own them.

In the end, I am just more confused than anything. Any insight or information would be enjoyed. Thanks for your time.

I’m pretty sure he did’t queue these up for remote install. Otherwise he wouldn’t be asking these questions, have you by chance given your sign in credentials out at all? If not, the i would change your password. Maybe that will prevent this from happening
again.

It happened to me with Fallout Shelter (the game is free tho) and Resident Evil. Is there any other account in your Xbox that is not set as home?, in my case it turned out to be my roomate's purchases, he installed the games and I couldn't play them since
I have my account as home on my GF's console.

Thanks for your post. I understand you are noticing random games installing onto your Xbox One Console. If this console is not your home Xbox, someone else's profile may be set as home. If this happens, any new games that person installs will then install
on other consoles. To prevent this from happening, you can adjust you settings to not install games remotely; check out this article:

I redeemed my code on xbox.com and it said "you now own evolve" but it's not in my games & apps and I don't know how to prompt the install on my xbox one. Why isn't there a download list on xbox one? Also, I tried entering the code again and it said it
was already used. Duh. Because I "own" it. But why can't I download it?

To install and play a game you own on Disc (even backwards compatible games on Xbox one) you need to insert the disc, install it and have it in the console the whole time you want to play it.

This is different if you own the game digitally (not on disc).

If you are talking about the game you own on disc but don't have, you will have to get the disc and insert it to play. There's no remote installing if you don't have the disc in and if you don't own the digital copy.

If you own the game digitally and it's backwards compatible (or an Xbox one game) please go to My Games and Apps > Ready to Install and find your game and install it.

If you own the game digitally on Xbox 360 please go to Settings > Account > Download history and download the game again.
