    Games having to install again


    My Xbox One is, for some reason, attempting to install two of my games so far (Shadow of Mordor and GTAV) that I have been playing since the day they were released, as if I never installed or played them before. My internet is out, and it stops installation
    because it can't connect to network. I've tried manually disconnecting from internet, restarting, then re-inserting the discs but it still doesn't work. Both games are showing up on my games list as needing to install. Why is this happening (like I said, I've
    already installed these games and have been playing them since they came out) and what can I do to fix it without being online?

    no I just installed it like 5 time again after I keep having to delete the game and over and over install it again

    Having to continuously re-install games

    Sorry to hear it. Can you please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that solves the issue?

    There's been a service alert up for the past 12 hours or so. That is probably what's causing this issue. You can check the current status here

    There’s been a service outage since yesterday around 4pm, which they just fixed early this morning. You could be experiencing problems from that. Please try and perform a power cycle or restart your Xbox to see if that helps.

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
    Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
    Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    I had it preinstalled and pinned to Home. Woke up, chose the tile from Pins and it launched right away. Must have gotten the patch overnight.

    P.S. Thanks for the heads-up RiZE. It would have helped had it not loaded right away. :)
