Games from Microsoft Store and Xbox PC not launching.

I own game pass pc subscription, but when I click to play any games nothing happens. No new processes appear in task manager.

I recently reinstalled my C drive but I didn't wipe my other two internals I just plugged them back in after the reinstall. I had a Windows Apps folder that was a pain to remove but windows wouldn't see it and it was the data from the games I had installed previously.

After getting rid of all this anything I install doesn't launch and occasionally about half hour later I might get a notification saying I don't own the app.

"Prey is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Microsoft Store and try again. Here's the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001"

I'm not on an xbox but on PC with microsoft and i launch the game with microsoft store or xbox app

Buy the game on steam and it works no problems..

Save your money Microsoft dont care for their customers.

I do not have the Xbox (Beta) app installed at home nor was I instructed to install it when I installed the game through the Microsoft Store. I've pinned The Outer Worlds app in my taskbar to launch the game subsequently.

Just to make sure that I understand, I purchased the full game ($65) from the Microsoft Store, and not the monthly subscription, Xbox Game Pass for PC. Is saving to the cloud not possible if I bought the game from the Microsoft Store? When I first launched
the game and was instructed to sign into my Microsoft account, it sure made it seem like cloud saves were the purpose for that.

According to WB Games, it will be available for the Microsoft Store as well. Perhaps by launch the game will be listed on the Microsoft Store and available with Game Pass for PC as well.

Please clear the cache of Microsoft Store by typing in "wsreset" on your search bar then press "Run as administrator", it may take a while for Microsoft Store to launch so please wait for it to launch to ensure that it's successful before restarting the PC then try to launch your games.
