Games from Gold not working on account

Actually just got it working! My account didn't currently have gold (had been using gold from an account on the same xbox for multiplayer), so just redeemed a gold card and boom works!! Happy gaming people

They would have access to the games and Gold from the subscription, but cloud gaming would only work on the account that purchased the subscription.

I believe the correct answer has already been mentioned.it is indeed correct that prior games with gold will work again once gold is put on the account that was used to claim those free games. I’d like to note that it is unlikely to work by sharing gold
from an aciunt that never claimed the games. So it would be best to renew the expired gold

That's not how it works Hairy. The silver account is logged in to the Home Gold console, so they get Gold benefit & access to any games from that console. The gold account logs in on the non Home Gold console, but they get gold benefit no matter what system
they're logged onto. The gold account can't be signed into multiple Xbox Ones at the same time. It can be signed into an Xbox One & 360 at the same time.

So from what I read you have a gold account and your 2 sons have silver accounts. For the silver accounts to work the xbox that they use needs to be set up as the home xbox from your account. Since your account is gold you will be able to sign I from
any xbox and your gold will work. On a xbox that is setup as a home xbox any other account logged in can share your gold benefits which include your games that your account owns. I run 2 xboxes with a similar situation. The xbox in the living room is setup
as my home xbox. The one in the bedroom isnt set to anyone home xbox. The kids can use the front one without me having to log in. They have access to any games I own or games I have downloaded through gamepass. The bedroom xbox has to have me logged into it
for any of my gold benefits to work. So I can log into that xbox and the kids can play from there to. Basically you need to setup the xbox your kids use the most as your home xbox.
