Games freezing / dropping connectivity - HDD issue?

I was playing Battlefield 3 and just lost connectivity, but my xbox one live account seemed fine.

Next I was playing a blitz game in Halo Wars 2 and the game freezes in play unexpectedly.

All game controls not working, no menu options but able to get home to dashboard fine.

Game remains frozen with buzzing noise when I returned. Happens a couple of times in Halo Wars 2.

I had quit the game and re-opened, able to set up a new game fine, then again during a blitz game freeze again.

It looks to me like a game error on disc. Is there any disk diagnostic and fragmentation check app?

I have been installing and removing games a bit, but only have the console less than 6 months.

Settings on storage doesn't offer any advice or disc status.

Am re-installing Halo Wars 2 to see if this resolves, but would like to have better disc verification and

management including fragmentation check and disc error log/notification. Can I force a disc check?

It is an error message related to your connectivity to the internet. It's possible that your connection is dropping when this happens.
