Games freezing and crashing xbox one x

I just got red dead redemption 2 and every time I play it it crashes after 5 - 10 minutes. This happens with some other games but not nearly as often.

I have tried a power cycle, factory reset, reinstalling, moving the game from internal to external, tested connections, removed account, cleared saved game data, and it is still not working.

Xbox One X Games freezing?

Everytime I play fortnite my game freezes after about 6 mins in. Anyone else having issues with games freezing or crashing on their Xbox One X?

Ive done some searching and other people get the same problem but only with Xbox One X Enhanced games.Everything else is ok so I think there's an issue with them that xbox needs to fix!

We had a problem with it freezing and crashing while we were playing locally and discovered if we went into Fight, selected Arcade the press x to change throwdown settings change it to decline. Then you just play, and even in other modes we haven't had any
problems with freezing or crashing any longer. Hope this helps some of you.

 

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

Thanks for your post. Since the issue has persisted despite the troubleshooting attempted, try using a different connection to launch the game. Sometimes games need to interact with an online server to allow full gameplay, if this is interrupted it can result
in crashing. Also try out an
Offline System Update to make sure the current OS on your console is stable.

I have the exact problem as you my game froze once and it doesn't let me go back in. It starts the game up but then returns me to the dashboard I tried everything as well like you did. If I get this solved I'll tell you how but if you get it solved please
tell me how you did it.

 

I do not believe there is a problem with my connection it works fine on other games.

This sounds like there might be some corruption on the installation files so we suggest clearing the game cache (clear local saved games):

System

Storage

Clear Local Saved Games

Yes and Restart

IF THE CONSOLE IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET no progress or purchase data will be lost, what we accomplish by doing these steps would be to resync the profile to the cloud getting rid of any corruption as a byproduct.

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this kind of issue.

Have you tried going to Storage in Settings and deleting your local Xbox saves?

If the previously posted steps did not help with the problem you're having, then I'd try the steps here on “My Xbox One game won’t start or freezes

KyleJustice if you find a solution the issue please reply to me my Xbox One S is doing the same thing it kicks me back to the dashboard when I try to start a game.

 

I tried everything I am out of hope for my Xbox S to work. Sometimes when I try to start the game it gives me the following code, 0x8027025a and I tried everything already.

 

I believe I might have solved the problem for me. Every time before you start the game go to the storage and press manage game and then clear out the reserved space. Its working so far for me.

 

Never mind it still freezes and quits.

 

I have been having the same problem since yesterday what is your Nat type on test it in network settings in test multiplayer connection.
