Discus and support Games Freeze and Cause Console to Restart in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I had received my Xbox One with a "Name Your Game" bundle. I chose Forza 6.     Games Freeze and Cause Console to Restart


    I had received my Xbox One with a "Name Your Game" bundle. I chose Forza 6. I properly followed all steps and installed the game. the game worked fine up until the segment after the player is introduced to the streets of Brazil, where the graphic display
    would freeze and the sound would continue only to eventually bug out. Initially, I thought there was an issue with Forza 6, but this happened to other games as well.

    Games that also crash:

    - Overwatch (disc): Works until entering a gamemode.

    - Warframe (digital): Freezes after accepting terms.

    The one game that has been unaffected so far:

    - Hawken (digital)

    I have tried these suggestions after visiting Microsoft's support center, each having no effect:

    - Uninstalling and reinstalling the games

    - Deleting the games' saved data

    - Restoring console

    I’m still plugging away at this, but I have got a XBO X since last Monday and I’m experiencing freezing of the game, a loud tone noise then the console would shut down and not restart until I manually press the on/off button on the console ( no restart from the controller).

    Happened a few times now...

    Has any else experienced this?

    personal ive had problems with forza before but the other issue might be the xbox. I had issue with mine and gamestop replaced it for with no cost might call where you got it from and see if they will. my xbox wasn't reading disc and freezing so might be
    the xbox just saying. sorry hopeful this helps.

    also try restarting internet for the gamecode possibility that when you enter code theres a lag. but diffently sounds to me you got defective xbox

    I've replaced the Xbox and the new one runs games without any of the previous issues. Thank you, Killakilla, for providing suggestions.

    also try restarting internet for the gamecode possibility that when you enter code theres a lag. but diffently sounds to me you got defective xbox

    When my a box freezes I have to restart my console and this is the only game that causes my xbox to freeze. I also tried to redownload my profile to see if that would work but I had no success, the crashed once again.

    Full Shutdown

    The restart now option is the same as a power cycle of the console. It basically removes any temporary files which may be causing the console to be sluggish or freeze.
