    Hello,

    I have been getting this error for quite a while. I cannot seem to get GFWL(Games for Windows Live) to work on my PC. Every time I log into GFWL, it is able to retrieve my username but not my GamerScore. When I try to play Lost Planet 2, the game launches
    and lets me choose between DX9 and DX11 but then black-screens and crashes. I just want the game to work Games for Windows Live Windows 10 "There was an error retrieving your purchase history.... :( . Here is what I tried:

    • Reinstalled different versions of GFWL Market Place.
    • Reinstalled different versions of LIVE Redistributable.
    • Reinstalled Lost Planet 2 (Many Times).
    • Clean uninstalled and reinstalled Windows 10 and then installed GFWL.
    • Copied and pasted the xbox dll files from SysWOW64 to System32
    Please help me, I just want to play my game.

    I have the exact same problem, before Christmas when i was still on windows vista it worked fine, but since i moved on to windows 8.1 and now windows 10, "there was an error retrieving your purchase history" how the hell am i supposed to download the games

    Games for Windows Live Xbox.com PC marketplace has ended support as of August 25, 2013. However, you should still be able to access your already purchased games in your "Purchase history" section. Can you try to sign out of the client, and then remove and
    re-download it from here: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/LIVE/PC/DownloadClient
