Games for Windows - LIVE - Client

Hey guys,

So I installed Fable III on my Windows 10 pc. It works and there are no problems within the game, but when I went to see if I could purchase anything (in the Sanctuary), I found out that I was not connected to the Games for Windows -LIVE - Client. Which
means I can't purchase anything.

I think that this is because I play the game on Windows 10, but I was wondering if I could do anything to fix this or will I just have to play through the game without purchasing anything?

Can you try removing the Games for Windows Live client from your Windows PC (search 'Programs and features' through the Start Menu) and re-download? You can download the Games for Windows Live client through the link below.
Note: This link will begin the download immediately.

Hey there.

Games for Windows Live is no longer supported and even if you could find a download for the client, unfortunately you wouldn't be able to purchase anything.

You have two options here:

Play through the game, as you say, without purchasing anything,

Or, Get the game on Xbox 360, it will play also on the Xbox One. All the content there is still available for purchase. Plus you can pick it up on disc pretty cheap. (Obviously you'll need either an Xbox One or 360 though if you don't have one already.)

 

In that case I'll just have to play through the game without purchasing anything as I do not own a Xbox One or 360.
