Your current configuration can run simpler games, I suggest that before installing any games check the minimum and recommended requirements of each game, all launchers nowadays like Xbox app, Microsoft store, and steam show the minimum and recommended requirements of each game.

If you have a good internet connection and are in a region where xcloud is available, you could play games via streaming for a subscription to the ultimate game pass. With xcloud you don't need to have powerful hardware, you just need to have a good internet connection as already mentioned.

I used to use this a lot on my old system as it wasn't very good. There is also a resource on there where it will analyse your system and show which games your system meets (scroll down the main page and the "how many games can I run" button). The website is a 3rd party one so any use is at your choice but I have used it a lot in the past without issue...you have a choice of either downloading a tool to analyse your system to see or you can manually search for games.

It's for budget laptops with a lot of the i3 features disabled or missing like l3 memory which is important

My 5th gen i5 laptop would do better with its nvidia chip

basic games as it is integrated graphics, you can play some games but triple a games may run but at lowest settings, some might not even run. cpu is a low powered cpu too.

I got a Seagate external drive, but I though once it is setup for the Xbox One, Windows can't read anything from it…?
