    Setting up a gift xbox one

    if you're signing into the console under his Live account to buy digital games, i only see 2 issues, 1.) he will receive an email confirmation about the games being purchased from Microsoft and 2.) if you sign in under his Live account, anyone on his friends
    will see him sign in on a Xbox One in their friends list.

    might be best to just buy a game or 2 on disc starting off.

    DRM on games?

    Under the 360 when you downloaded a game your received 2 licenses- one for the console it was downloaded on and one for the gamertag that bought the game. Is it the same with Xbox one?

    Hey,

    If you look on the case of the game then there should be a table with 2 columns. Next to the 'Players' section, look under the 'Xbox One' heading and it says there.

    If you bought the game via the on console store, look at the section over the description. for example on GTAV it says 'Players: 1-1/Xbox One, 2-30 Xbox Live Gold'.

    Xbox One Backwards Compatibility list    . It's best to purchase backwards compatible games on your Xbox One to ensure it will install.
