Games flashing and some completley black not my tv tried it on other tvs HELP

Some of my games flash with colours e.g ufc 2,fifa16,17,18 for my ufc 2 i have got two different copies of the game but it done the same thing so it is my xbox that is not working i know this because on many different tvs however the main game this effects
is fortnite battle royale when i go on to the game the backround where it should be blue for me it is black and when i load into a match i can see my hud the game is fully black however it worked before the season three update however after this update the
screen went black I have uninstalled the game many times and it has not worked i have tried changing the brightness and everything in the settings please help me with this issue thank you

xbox 360 slim not booting up

I tried both your options and none of them worked my power button is still green and my controller light keeps flashing as if its not connected to a tv and i tried it on three different TVs (HD and AV)

Xbox One not working with certain tv

Me and my brother share an Xbox One and it works perfectly on his TV, but when I go to use it on my TV or most other TVs in the house it does various things; it shows either 2-3 seconds or 2 minutes of the Xbox game play and then starts flashing black for
a few seconds or keeps going; or it shows the start up green screen and then goes black.

Despite all this, my 3 works a treat on this TV so any replies would be helpful.

Hi there.

Definitely sounds like there is an issue going on with the consoles rendering or the connection to the TV.

To narrow down the root of the problem are you using the HDMI cable that came with the console and have you tested a brand new cable with the console?

If the results are the same let's have you
factory reset the console to be sure there are no corrupt files.

If the reset does not resolve the issue then a repair is the next step.

To get that process started be sure to
register the console or reach out to the
chat or phone team!

No they are not 4k tv's. Only mine. On the other tv's doesn't matter what resolution I use. It flashes and black screen. On my tv no flashes on 1440p only when playing certain games and streaming it flashing black screen and no signal. But on 1440p it starts up no problem. Going through menus no problem. Playing call of duty problem.

Go into your TV settings and disable any options listed under the Advanced Video Settings, then power the TV off and on again and see if the flashing still occurs. Some advanced
settings can cause this flashing black screen on not only the Vizio Tv's but also other makes and models.

I has no optical so direct Xbox -> TV using the HDMI high speed with Ethernet cable and setting stereo audio. I has noticed an improve. A black screen flash I think is signal of sync, if we have various or delayed it can be because sync problems.

The results, when connecting to:

- Xbox ->(stock cable) ->A/V receiver -> (HDMI high speed) -> TV: 1 black screen flash within 10 seconds of power on.

- Xbox -> (HDMI high speed cable) -> TV: 1 black screen flash within 1 minute.

- Xbox -> (stock cable) -> TV: multiple black screen flashes within 10 minutes.

The results are good at least for my TV (Philips), because within 1 minute I am loading the game/App yet, or maybe on dashboard.

Studbucket33, the power command does NOT work for me. There doesn't seem to be any ability to control the Homeworx from the XBox One at all except for the black screen flash event.

Interstella69, I'm not so sure that what is happening to you is happening to me. I'm using a Kinect mounted above my TV to control my setup, which includes the TV, Receiver, and Homeworx. The only thing that is not working is the Homeworx. The black screen
flash event didn't start occurring until I tried the new update.
