    Games downloading on a console when it is not supposed to


    I recently got an xbox one. My brother got his a year ago. We both have separate accounts and the only thing similar are, that we are in the same WiFi and that we are friends. Yet anytime I download a game or I get a disc game, it always downloads onto his console.
    Nothing is linked up and the third Xbox one in the house does not have these issues. How do I get it to stop downloading onto his console?

    Code for backwards compatible 360 game does not download to 360 console.

    I received a game code for Tom Clany's rainbow six Vegas and Vegas 2 from the microsoft store. It is a backwards compatible 360 game that is supposed to work on the One as well. I redeemed the code on my account on my laptop, but it will not show up for
    downloading to my 360 console.

    That's not the case!

    Back ground downloading put your 360 into semi standby mode and downloads the stuff on you list.

    The power lige on the front will flash intermeidetly (spelling) showing it is downloading. Once it has done downloading it will turn itself off.

    You turn BG downloading in the console settings.

    WHy it is not working for the OP i do not know.

    You're brothers Xbox One is set as your home console.

    That's why everything is downloaded onto his console.

    Set your own console as your home console and things should be back to normal.

    Are the games that she is trying to play already downloaded to the console? Only your account would be able to download Gamepass games. Once you download them, then anyone is supposed to be able to play them as long as you have that console set as your
    Home console.

    Yes you are supposed to wait like the registration tool says I believe.

    When I registered my console the update downloaded the next day.

    I can't play my downloaded Halo 3: Game Broken

    None... all files are ok. The only one that appears with the yellow icon its Halo 3 with the message "Game Broken". I suppose some kink of remote block of the game. I tried to download it in background (when the console its off).. then switched off the internet
    connection when its finished... but same results.
