Games downloaded through gamepass are crashing at launch.

I downloaded both Forza 4 and 5. They both crash at launch.

Installed-reinstalled both

Updated-repaired-reinstalled xbox app

Excluded games and the xbox app from antivirus software

Nothing seemed working.

I am able to run purchased Forza's without any issues, so I know it is not due to my specs.

Did you accept the window that connects your Microsoft account?

Almost always the issue is with connecting to online services.

I can't recall if I did. But I am logged in on the app so I assume I did. Also, I subscribed to Game Pass back in 2020 and played games without any issues. So, I must have accepted it back then

If you have gamepass installed on your pc try launching the game through that

Thanks for your quick response. I started subscription with gamepass on the 14th August and had no issues with downloading at all. My issue has been with the game crashing at launch at not playing the game at all! I had to uninstall three times and the fourth time it said I had to pay £25. I was thus unaware they were taking TSW 2020 off Gamepass. Rather annoying and wasted so many hours aswell as £7.99

I will be giving it a try when it launches. I haven't played a gears game yet, but a few friends told me good things about it and looking forward to playing it through the Ultimate Gamepass. I'm actually downloading 4 now because of it and thankful the
gamepass gives me the ability to try out games I may or may not like.
