Games downloaded from XBox Gamepass on Windows 11 keeps lagging and crashing a lot.

Both of those games are pretty demanding. That being said, are you sure your laptops RTX 3050 is being utilised when launching these games? Sounds to me like the system maybe dropping back to the iGPU.

Firstly, make sure your laptop is plugged in to the mains. Go to to the Start menu and open Settings, or search for Settings via Windows Search. in the settings screen click the Gaming icon on the left side of the screen and then Game Mode and finally click Graphics.





You'll be presented by a list of apps and games. Unfortunately, some games (the game pass titles it seems) won't show in the list straight away. Change the drop down to Microsoft Store App and these games will now show.





Once you've clicked on the game, it should be added to the list. As I've done with Atomic Heart below.





Click Options and your devices built in graphics hardware should be displayed. Be sure to choose the High performance RTX 3050 and click Save

I'm surprised Lenovo choose to provide a 'gaming' laptop with only 8GB of RAM and while the mobile RTX 3050 is far from a bad graphics card, it's not high end. However, you should be able to get reasonable performance in these titles with some tweaks. Be sure to enable DLSS upscaling in performance mode as this will allow you run these games in 720 and have DLSS upscale them back to 1080P for next to no visual loss on your display.

no point as in windows 11 the store directs you to the xbox app for games now, you have to use the xbox app to initiate game downloads (even bought games) and use gamepass games too.

all that and yet it is still the windows store that downloads the stuff in the background.

ok, gaming on windows 11 is also worse than 10, the windows store and xbox gamepass are disconnected and feel very clunky, this is from extensive testing too.

There's a lot of things that will cause MC to crash, sometimes it's completely random and sometimes it's when the game can't handle what you are doing (like purposely trying to lag the game) or in my case i downloaded some mods and shaders from mcpedl
and if i try to load a game with them it crashes

1. gamepass ultimate will not cause a crash.

2. warzone does not need gamepass ultimate or even gold to play as it's free to play.

3. it could very well be a problem with your xbox, the connection or something else.

4. how can it be disrespected if your game crashes, if it keeps doing it restart your console or re download the game.
