    Games downloaded as corrupted


    I have an Xbox 360 console bought from UK. My Xbox account uses an email address registered in UK as well. I have downloaded several free games from the "Games for Gold" program successfully. But 3 of those free games (Halo 3, Gears of War and Rainbow 6)
    cannot be downloaded. I have tried a few times for each of them, but all ended up with corrupted state. Does anyone know what the problem is?

    The only thing I can think of is I am currently in China. Do I have to go back to UK in order to download them?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Fable 3 won't load

    i think something has corrupted his game save as he can start a new save with downloaded content

    Edit: I also did the format for my Hard Drive and so far same issue.

    Some games are IP locked and cannot be downloaded from outside of their respective countries. This would be the reason that you cannot download them. However, now that you've tried they are in your download history forever. If you head back to the UK
    you'll be able to download them then.

    this is worthless. i want my gold membership back. the only reason i bought the gold membership was for the free games and now i have to travel to USA to be able to download the games. thats just amazing. thats how you make people never pay for that

    Not really all you have. To do is follow terms of use and international laws

    make an account region that matches your actual region

    Unless you are not in an xbbox live region then you will have to take it up with your government

    OK both of you does your account region match your actual region or you at least physically live in the us if not that is probably why

    For the best experiences with Xbox live and any online service your physical region must match your account region
