GAMES DONT START, GET KICKED TO HOME SCREEN

The witcher 3 (disc - no DLCs) starts with intro videos then goes to black screen with loading circle/wolf and bottom right for few minutes then i get kicked to xbox one home screen

Rise of the Tomb Raider (disc) shows initial screen shot then goes to black screen for minute or so then i get kicked to xbox one home screen

Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (digital) - wont start, black screen also

I have:

uninstalled, reinstalled

delete saves

reset

wipe disc

go offline, go online

NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING. (note the frustration)

Dear Microsoft please FIX FIX FIX FIX (still havent noted the frustration?)

SIDE NOTE:

best i can tell, Destiny (disc) works fine, just did ROI update that went well, Mortal Kombat X works fine (disc), sunset overdrive (digital) works fine havent tried other games as yet

keep getting kicked off xbox live when i start mass effect 3

As soon as the game loads just as the press start appears I get kicked off xbox live and cant sign back in until i drop to home screen....

 

Dead Rising 3 wont start

I had a 5gb update and now I can't get back in the game. I get to the continue screen, then it starts loading, the suddenly I'm kicked all the way back to the Xbox home screen. I've tried the 10 second shutdown, unplugged power, eject disc etc. whats up
with that?

 

I had the very same issue with ROTTR. The only thing that got it working in the end was a factory reset and having it installed on the internal hard drive.

 

Yes im having this issue with rainbow six siege. I uninstalled it worked fine. Come back the next day it started having problems all over again. I surely dint want to have to do this every time i want to play.

Sorry to hear about the issue. It sounds like SN1P3R SK33T had success resolving his issue by

factory resetting his Xbox One console. Could you guys please give that a try and let us know how that goes?

UPDATE.

Did a RESET, chose the option where you keep games and apps, AFTER having moved all my games to an external harddrive, Worked fine, didnt seem to need to update the xbox (if it did it was quick). Had to do initial steps again, log in, setup personal settings
(my original settings were selected by default already) and i moved ROTTR to internal (didnt try playing from external) and it started no problems, Now VERY HAPPY. Hope it holds up tho

NOTE:

It took a while for the Xbox to detect games on external, they popped up one by one over period of 15min maybe. I had to remove Destiny CD from xbox1 as it started fresh install. (Destiny hadnt popped up as one of the detected games at that point) will try
it and confirm that all saves/items etc are present still, i dont imagine that they got deleted

 

UPDATE

Games working, minor glitches with downloaded content where Xbox did not detect initially, gave msg about save file not compatible and i need to download the following content blah blah (all were already installed), problem self resolved after few seconds.
