    Hi everyone, i just got a 3month prepaid card xbox live gold. so i put the code in, and when i go to "my account" it says that i actually GOT xbox live. however, when i try to create a group or play a multiplayer game, the console
    tells me to get xbox live gold, like i havent got it ! what am i actually supposed to do ?

    I'm having the same issue, It's not downloading my gamer information and doesn't recognize that I have an Xbox Gold Live membership.

    We appreciate you reaching out to us with this issue. Gold subscribers shouldn't be seeing prompts to buy gold, that's pretty strange. We're also sorry to hear about your experience with support, but hopefully we can offer some assistance. We're sure you
    were already asked to do something similar, but we want to try to reset some settings. Let's try powering down your console, unplug the console and router for five full minutes, and let us know how that goes for you.

    Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, as stated in our FAQ:

    —My Xbox Live Rewards account is not recognizing my Xbox Live Gold membership. What should I do?

    Xbox Live Rewards can only recognize paid monthly or yearly standard, non-promotional Xbox Live Gold memberships. If you have a different type of membership, we may not be able to recognize you as an Xbox Live Rewards Gold member.
