    Games disappearing from game library when installing a game.


    When ever I install a game (old or new) all the games from my game library disappear, and if I load onto a game that’s on the Home Screen it will load on and then kicked me out because it took to long to start, the only fix is restarting my Xbox.

    I obviously don’t want to reset my Xbox every time I install a game so how do I fix this?

    The issue fixes its self after about a minute so I’ll just have to wait every time but thank you very much for your help

    I'm sorry but the last resort is resetting the console and removing everything, Travis. This will uninstall all of your games as well as apps but you can reinstall all of them later on.

    I think the issue has been fixed but the games are installing very slowly even though it shows 54 mbps

    Also, if you can unplug the hard drive in the meantime to test it out that would be great. Keep the hard drive unplugged.

    Hi Travis, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If that didn't work resetting the console and keeping games and apps will be the next option, you've mentioned that the way to fix it is by restarting that's why I have provided these steps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, and games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Also, if that still didn't work please let me know if you have an external hard drive plugged into your console?
