Games deleting themselves.

At 2:30am I woke up because I kept getting notifications from the Xbox app saying I got all these achievements from a game. Gears of war, to be specific. Then a family member of mine calls me saying the game has been deleted. Have any of you had this problem
before?

Games uninstalling themselves....

I had Dead Rising 3, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Forza 5 all installed. Last I played was Forza and that was about a week ago, but I use the Xbox on a daily basis for TV watching. When I went to load Forza today, it kept telling me that the game needed to
be installed and I couldn't figure out why so I restarted my Xbox a couple time and even took the game disc out once, but nothing seem to help. I hit the menu button while on the Forza app and it basically had the option to cancel the install despite me never
initiating one to begin with. There was no progress bar telling me that Forza was installing so after sometime waiting and not getting anywhere, I canceled the "install" that was currently happening, and began installing the game again. It was installing it
from scratch. It was taking a very long time, maybe around 2 hours to install. Even after installing the game would keep crashing at a certain point during a race (an issue I had before with Forza and I had to begin to install and not touch my Xbox until it
was finished to get around this issue), so I just deleted it and I am currently reinstalling the game. But I did notice that my other two games were also deleted.

This is very frustrating when you buy a product that doesn't deliver on some of the basic features that it promises (whether this is an Xbox/Microsoft issue, or an issue with the game and its developer). Here's hoping that the upcoming system update will
help fix some issues and not cause more!

Hey I'm not sure if this happens to anyone else but anytime I take my xbox one to a friend's house and connect to their Internet any game I play at their house seems to uninstall itself when I get home. I go to play it and I get a message saying the game
needs an update and by that it means to reinstall the WHOLE game all over again. It wouldn't really be a problem but I have bad Internet and it takes up t 2-3 hours to reinstall games. This feature really makes me not want to bring my console to my friends
house if it's going to be a hassle EVERYTIME. I was just wondering if anyone else has to deal with this major design flaw?

The one thing that comes to mind is home console. For example if you have your home console set on your firends console and if they delete the game it could counter to you as the game being deleted on yours or vise versa.

Also the achievements thing they could be delayed to unlock up to 72 hours.

 

The console isn't set up with anyone else's which is weird. What's also weird is that I haven't touched the game in ages. Thank you for your help, though.

 

No problem! Yes technology can be weird that's why you got people like us to help you all out with the supernatural events that happen .
