Games Crashing Without Error - Please help!!

Hello,

I am trying to diagnose a gaming issue I have had for a month or two now. Originally I was getting BSOD's and game crashes, all leading to corrupted files/driver issues being the cause. I have taken many troubleshooting steps to stop the BSOD's (mainly DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) but my games still crash constantly without any error popups, or if anything, "a critical error has occurred."

Specifically, I play league of legends and oldschool runescape. Games that do not require nearly as much power from my gaming laptop as many other games would. If any gamers here could help me diagnose this issue, it would be greatly appreciated. I assume this is still a graphics card/driver issue, but honestly I have taken so many troubleshooting steps I don't know how it would be.

I bought this laptop a few months ago, and it should not have any of these issues. Some steps I have taken are updating all of my driver from device manager, NVidia app, and the ASUS website. Diagnosis through MyASUS brings up nothing. Running programs as administrator, compatibility mode on/off, deleting folders, reinstalling games, updated BIOS and Windows, uninstalled apps that could interfere, disabled overlays, tweaked graphics settings in every way possible, switching networks, running disk/file checks, scans, and repairs. I have no corrupted files according to everything I have tried.

Can I specifically upload some logs from League of Legends to diagnose this issue if anyone knows how to read them? I submitted a ticket but Riot has been quite unhelpful. I am not that knowledgeable so please bear with me, I will do what I am told lol.

ok. thanks for the information. in this case I recommend you contact nvidia support so they can check the problem.

The video card is from February, 2025. Brand new with the laptop when I bought it.

Hello Tadeu,

I have tried a few other games since I bought this laptop, such as Assassins Creed: Shadows, and Kingdom Come Deliverance II, but it has been a few months since I have played them. Both games have much more graphics card usage but had the same issue, crashing unexpectedly without errors. This is why I believe somehow my graphics card is the problem, but a brand new NVidia RTX 4070 should be able to run any of these.. I do not know if there are any logs I can use to pinpoint the issue directly aside from League of Legends game logs or maybe something within Windows. Thanks for the help.
