Games Crashing and going back to Dashboard

seems A LOT of people have this issue of the last 6 months, but no one seems to have found a fix. When I leave my xbox on all day on minecraft, around the 20 hour mark, the game crashes and goes back to dashboard. Same with long days on GTA or Assassins
Creed.

Is this something that i should call MS about and see about a repair, or is this a patch needed thing.

i have play the game for 150 hours no crashing

since update 1.20 it crashing and kick me back to dashboard

 

Have You Ever Had To Do A Hard Reset?

I've had to a fair few times due to the TV app crashing my TV and a few times due to the home button not going back to dashboard

 

I have encountered this problem many times with games such as battlefield and fifa, I think it is some sort of memory dump which closes down the game to refresh it. What I did to solve it was going into Setting, then select Disc & Bluray then go to persistent
storage and clear it three times. When the step has done, power cycle your console. It may be a console error that will be patched in the future.

 

this might work for disc games, but i dont see that setting helping with harddrive DLC games.

 

i deleted my Minecraft download... went and bought the disc, reinstalled it, dloaded the updates, downloaded the saves from the cloud... Cleared persistent storage... and it still bombs. This only started happening when i downloaded this new update.
