    Games Crashing and Causing a Loud Buzzing Sound


    Hi! My Xbox One S keeps crashing while playing most games, and when it does a loud buzzing sound goes through whatever audio device I’m using (TV speakers, sound system, headset). I’ve already tried clearing the local saves for Xbox One and Xbox 360, as well as resetting the system to factory settings. Is there anything else I can do? Or at I stuck having to get a new system?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    You've mentioned that you have reset your console, did you choose to remove everything or keep my games and apps?

    If you choose to keep my games and apps the last resort is to reset and remove everything.

    The system itself wasn't making the loud buzzing sound. The audio through the television was making the buzzing sound when the game crashed. Maybe a frozen sound loop or something. I did try a hard reset by resetting my system through the system settings
    and not deleting games or apps. So far so good. We'll see though.

    And PS. I replaced the Flux capacitor weeks ago.

    Thanks for the help I tried to restart and it didn't help so I am going to take it into Microsoft and see if can be fixed

    Before you do that, I would try holding down the Xbox logo on the front of your console until it shuts down and restart it and try again. If that doesn't work, do the same, but unplug the power cord from your console for 5 minutes. Those steps will fix your
    issue most of the time. Please post back whether it worked or not.
