    Games crash to home screen after launch


    Happens to both Fallout 4 and Witcher 3.

    1. Insert disc, install and launch game

    2. Splash screen loads then a black screen with a small loading icon bottom right corner

    3. Tries to load for approx 2 minutes then crashes to home screen

    4. Halo 5 works fine (disc). Overwatch works fine (software)

    5. Tried multiple hard reset (wall socket included). Tried complete uninstall and re-install. Tried searching for any other help, none exists. No grinding noises from drive etc. Fallout 4 worked previously.

    Lot of XBOX One games keeps crashing to dash

    I have the same problem too with 2 games downloaded from the store.

    The games crashes to home screen immediately after launch.

    XBOX One S Crashed to Home Screen Constantly

    My XBOX One S continuously crashes back to the Home screen. I have tried multiple resets, including multiple hard resets. I have also made sure all updates were complete and that my game had installed. However, when I go to launch the game it almost always
    crashes right back to the home screen after a couple seconds. Every once in a while the game will load and then after a couple minutes it crashes back to the home screen. It is unplayable. Any suggestions? Because right now I am thinking the XBOX One is a
    hunk of junk.

    If you are sure you have done a hard reboot, then I would try, removing and adding my profile back, and then rest to factory settings. Just to be sure your hard booting correctly do this: With the console on, press and hold the power button on the console
    for 5 seconds until it shuts off. Unplug the power supply, wait about 30 seconds and then plug it in and reboot. You should see the green splash screen upon reboot. It may take a minute to boot all the way to the home screen.

    Launching games kicks me back to home screen problem.

    I have the same problem:

    DR3 - either crashes to home screen, or gets stuck at "Loading"

    AC4 - either crashes to home screen, or gets stuck loading the save game

    KI- crashes to home

    COD- Goes into a loop going back to the splash screen after showing the menu for a second or two

    These are all digital download games. I'm on my 2nd replacement xbox and support hasn't been able to help me at all.
