Games consistently disconnecting when playing online!

Hi guys,

When playing both FIFA 14 and Call of Duty: Ghosts on the Xbox One, I consistently see my games cut short due to it disconnecting randomly. I'd say around 5/10 games will end early due to it disconnecting.

With FIFA, it just sends me back to the home screen and I get the usual 'You have disconnected from the EA servers'. With Call of Duty, it just send me back to the main screen where you can pick your online match type. Yet when I play FIFA 14 on the Xbox
360, it works fine. Very rarely disconnects, same can be said for games like GTAV, COD MW3, COD4 etc...

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this problem before and how they resolved it? In short, my 360 connections is absolutely fine, my Xbox One connection no so.

Odd problem with Connection

Not exactly sure where to post this, First time.

However,

Problem isn't with disconnecting while playing online. I'm disconnecting if I'm not playing online

If I sit at any menu idle i'll disconnect even when downloading

I cannot play any kind of single player games without disconnecting in 5 min.

I cannot play online game modes solo, for example Two worlds 2 private game/Bullet storm private anarchy.

It's really odd, If I play with another person on any online games it'll go without a single Lag or DC, but as soon as I play solo I dc.

I have the same issue with PvZ:GW too... which just happens to be an EA game... I personally feel it is EA and not the Xbox One.

 

I can deal with only playing FIFA offline because of Career Mode, but for me COD is only enjoyable online.

 

Yeah I hear ya. I might suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the game. If that doesn't work complain to the developers who run the servers. I know EA has always had issues with their servers. You also can check on your ISP see what kind of ping you are
getting. If it's too high online gaming tends to crap out.
