Games are not launching on Game Pass for PC

Started having issues a few weeks ago, and the problem is persistent.

I try to open Fallout 76 or Medieval Dynasty; gamingservicesui.exe pops up with the appropriate game banner. The program indicates that I'm being signed in and that the game is launching. After a few seconds, gamingservicesui.exe closes, and the game does not launch. There are no error codes, nor any other indication that the game has failed to launch. However, Vampire Survivors opens and runs fine.

Things I've tried:

-uninstalling and reinstalling Gaming Services

-Un/reinstalling Xbox app

-Manually set date/time

-Ensure I'm logged into my account

-Updated Windows (I'm running Win10, and I've installed even the optional updates)

-Graphics drivers up to date

-Verify/repair affected games

-Un/reinstall affected games

-Several other things I can't remember involving Powershell and Command Prompt

I managed to get it to work once; I believe that I had un/reinstalled gaming services through powershell and updated my graphics drivers. Shutting down the computer appeared to break whatever fix I applied, and subsequent fixes using the same methods failed every time thereafter.

I believe it is still a network error, but let's test a more complete procedure then.

Download the Windows ISO from this website.

First download the ISO

Open the ISO image tool, inside there will be a file called SETUP.exe, select update, download it from the cloud and choose "keep game and apps"

It's quite simple, this will update your files, without losing anything.

Thanks for the detailed report, it helped a lot!

The gaming service interface is apparently unable to synchronize with the servers, we need to see if it's a network error or a service error.

Perform this process below

Let's try to reinstall and repair it.

Take it easy ok? May be in another language

Hold Win + I and go to Apps > Apps & Features.

locate Gaming Service and tap the menu button (...).

Advanced Options > Reset.

click Reset and confirm.

Later:

Win + X and select Windows Terminal (Admin).

Enter the command below:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

Wait for it to complete, and then type this other command:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

When it finishes installing, restart your PC and see if the error remains
