Games/Apps installed on my brother's console are showing up on my console.

I've got a weird situation...

I got my Xbox One last December. Since then, several members of my family have used it, including my brother. About 6 weeks ago, my brother got his own console, and now whenever he installs a game or an app on his console, they simultaneously install on
mine.

I don't have a clue why that's happening. I've removed his profile from my machine, hoping that might solve the problem... It didn't.

Both Xboxes are on the same network (there aren't any other networks available other than our home LAN), but we both have our own Xbox Live accounts.

Any ideas? -Wes

Lost download game

On an xbox one console as long as you are signed into the console with a profile any digital game that was purchased that is not installed on the console already will show up in the ready to install section of my games and apps on the console.

with that being said if it is installed and is not showing up in the games section you may have the filters set wrong in the games section you can have it filter the games by xbox one only, xbox 360 only, or both so you may want to check the filters too.

Missing downloadable content for a backwards compatible game

Gone into manage game and my other DLC's are there, i went back on the 360 and it says its installed on the console, i removed it and reinstalled it but its not showing up on xbox one.

Hi there,

If he has signed into your Xbox One first, it will set it as his home Xbox, meaning that you will get any game that he buys digitally. You can do the same on his console, and he will get any game that you own.

Essentially you don't have to buy the game twice, you can share games with each other. It's worth noting that you can only have one home Xbox per account, and you can only change it about 3 times a year.

If console, go to my games and apps - is it installed or listed there as available to install?

If PC, load it up in the Windows store - does it show purchased?

Thanks for reaching out. All my apps are up to date. Originally when my brother went to install this it was on drive c. No other games or apps are giving me the same issue. The game is showing in my order history. Nothing is installed that would stop the installation of this process.

Not my problem my external storage shows up it just appears empty but only on my xbox all my games and dlc show up on my brothers console whn its plugged in

It should show up under Ready to Install in Apps in My Games and Apps. Once you get it, you'll have to go through the console registration process again.
