    games and xbox (beta) app crash after startup


    i have been using xbox beta quite a lot before and i ddecided to return to find something to play, first two days went ok. played some age of empires and it was fun. then the next day i tried to install a new game and launch it but immediately on startup both xbox (beta) and the game crash. the game has the splash screenand then crash while the xbox app just crash instantly.

    i have tried to update my drivers and launch from menu as admin and turning off all overlays but nothing has helped so far.

    any help is appreciated

    Every time i join a party in xbox app it crashes/closes client.

    Sorry to hear you are having this issue. It would be a great help if you could reproduce this again using the Xbox app beta then re-launch the beta app after the crash and select the "Feedback-->Report a problem" option. This may help us better understand
    what is causing the crash. Thank you!

    After testing other games, it seems to crash on any "Xbox (Beta)" PC games. Gears 4 and 5 primarily. I'm testing other games on the Xbox app, and Killer Instinct seems to run alright.

    Xbox Beta App keeps crashing on my new android devices when I try to use to connect to my console to play my download games. The Game pass App is fine. I realize it is a Beta, but does anyone know if this is a know issue that they're addressing?
    I am in the same exaxt boat. After loading it for lile the 10th time, it will work, if i am lucky

    Does the Xbox App crash or does the game crash?

    If it's the Xbox (Beta) App, I'd say go to settings > Apps then find the Xbox (Beta) app and click "Advanced Options". From there, click the "Reset" button for the app. Restart the computer and see if that helps.

    You could also try launching the games directly from the start menu without the Xbox App and see if that helps your ability to launch the game?

    If it's the game that's crashing, then I'd say try doing the reset with the games that are causing issues, but for that we might need some more information, such as the specs of your PC? CPU, GPU, Memory, etc. can help us identify some other areas we might
    need to investigate for troubleshooting.
