Games and DLC I own are not showing as owned on the Xbox game store.

So I been having this problem ever since I bought the Xbox Series X. When I go to the game store to buy a game or DLC for a game, such as Monster Hunter, I doesn't tell me what DLC I own anymore. Before it used to tell me which DLC I owned and which ones I didn't. Now it just gives me the price and I have no idea if I have it installed or not, or which DLC I am truly missing. I will admit, I ended up buying a game and DLC for a game I actually already owned. It is becoming a huge annoyance now for I have to write down what DLC I own and don't own if I go shopping for games or DLC. So is this a bug with the Microsoft X Box store or my xbox myself? I tried using the Xbox app on my PC and I actually run into the same problem as well.

I recommend trying the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

Hello, I went to the store on my new Xbox and it says that I own the dlcs but I don't own the game whereas on my old Xbox it shows that I own the game and dlcs, any reason this is happening? (I do have the new Xbox set as the home Xbox)

I will note, a problem I have had before is that if the game/dlc is installed on a external hard drive, then I would have to unplug and plug it back in again to get it to show. Food for thought.

Anything you own on your profile will show as owned in the Xbox store. So maybe try searching the game on the Xbox store with console and look there. If it doesn't show as owned or in your purchase history in the account settings that means another account
owns it.

I would check your purchase history to make sure your account is the one that owns the game, Anything you own will show there or show as owned. It will show as owned in the Xbox store as well. -https://support.xbox.com/billing/xbox-subscriptions/check-xbox-live-bill
