    All of the games and aps that were on the x-box have vanished. Does anyone know what is going on?

    If they appear in the Ready to Install section of My Games and apps click on 1 of them and they all should appear as installed again. I had a similar issue and this resolved it for me.

    I didn't have to redownload them.

    So I re checked all the cables and including power and restarted the x-box. It is working again now. Thank you for all you help.

    If all of the above possible solutions doesnt fix, try to
    Factory Reset     your console. You only need to do this in the last chance, because if this even doesnt fix, could be a hardware issue.

    If the power cycle dont work>>>you can try removing and readding your profile on your Xbox.
