Game Pass is a subscription, not a store. If you mean the Xbox app, both the Microsoft Store app and Xbox app are essentially the same store. They just have different names.

If you've gone into My Library in the store app and not just searched the game there then please make sure you're logged into the Store app, the Xbox app and Xbox Companion app (install that if it's not already) with the same gamertag. Then use the Xbox app to install the game to your PC

You're welcome and you should be able to download the game through Microsoft Store App or through Xbox App.

On Microsoft Store simply search for the game and the same with Xbox App. You should have an option to install the game,

if you had games listed in companion app they then you either streamed from an xbox or they were installed via the windows store, if the game is not listed in the xbox app then download from the windows store.

you can install the companion app from the windows store too.

I have this issue to but I found a fix. Try using the Microsoft Store App instead of the Xbox App. I was able to download, install and the play games with the Microsoft Store App. Later on, the Xbox App shows the game I installed and is playable.
