Games and Apps Wont Start After System Update

Whenever I try and start a game or app it prompts me with a message saying "Sorry, that didn't work for some reason. (0x80070002)" My Xbox One auto-updated at 8:00 AM this morning, I believe that this was potentially a preview program update. It worked fine
last night. I tried holding power button for 5 seconds to turn off and then unpluged it for two minutes but it still did the same thing. I haven't really been able to find any info online about this issue which leads me to believe that it isn't widespread.
I am just trying to find a way to fix it without having to restore factory settings. Please help!!!!

my console updated and now everytime i try to start a game it tells me it took to long to start (0x8027025a), the settings wont open just sits there with the settings logo, store tells me to refresh and gives me different error code each time, the help app
won't launch so no help there. Ive tried restarting the console including a hard restart. Right now my xbox feels like an expensive paper weight anyone experiencing this or know how to fix

in the end i had to factory reset that seems to have sorted it out. Bit of a pain but there you go

 

I also have app, games and DVD movie watching. However I now can't get to my Subscription or Billing and I can only launch ESO via that games HUB, then I disconnect after about an hour. I have 2 Xbox One consoles and 2 Xbox Live accounts. Aryotus (acct.,
#1) is all good after only Clearing and restarting from the Advanced Network settings/Alt Mac. However (acct., #2) as first mentioned above has far worse problems. Can't play a dvd movie, can't watch Netflix or any other streaming movie. Can't even
find the movies I purchased and downloaded into my Ext., HD on console #2. Both consoles 1 and 2 have the same brand external HDs. I do know the problems started with the latest patching from Microsoft. They are both in the 3rd block of console OS's for the
offline update riggamarrow* which I haven't had to deal with for console #1 and I am dreading doing it for console #2 to see if it helps. Why can't console #2 retrieve my account info, billing info and all pertaining there-in? I'm here on my laptop and that
information shows my Xbox Live Gold paid till June of this year, However it is listed in the "Cancellations" section here on line. Now I can't even play ESO which I was before posting this. What gives. Pay your programmers more, correct your analclivity in
contracts with your own and outside publishers. The console is an awesome product ......personal lubricant would go along way. You and I have had a topsy turvy ( I pay you --- You provide ) relationship. we all know the history prior to and still forthcoming
since launch. The dudes and dudettes with the money and the power need to throw out their garbage disposals, rinse your dishes prior to washing and allow the drain the flow.

 

I also got the update and can no longer open apps or games. I'm pretty much limited to tv and edge. I get the same codes you did. Hard restart didn't help. It is pretty awesome having an Xbox that doesn't play games.

 

Mine doesn't even play games. I can't launch apps, games, can't even access some settings. The network settings are completely inaccessible. My gamer-pic doesn't show up either. I don't know what to do.

 

has anyone been able to solve this yet, i talked to xbox support and was told to see a support specialist but the link sent me to a page and said it wasent there

same issue...just updated 1/26/16 @12:18am. got error code. restarted, reinstalled. madden still wont open

If your in the preview program you really would be better off posting the the preview forums

forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx

It also helps them track down the issues.

Group not found. I went to both of the forums and that is the message I got. I too can not open any games or apps and it started after the update. Does anyone know how to quit the preview program?

 

If you've got "group not found" someone from the staff will be along and sort out your access.

You can un-enrol from the preview program from the preview app, you won't go back to the public build until they release it to everybody.

Well this is the third day in a row and still I'm getting group not found. This really sucks having to just sit here and wait for someone to notice the group isn't up. If anyone hears of a fix please let me know. I'll do the same.
