    None of my games and apps will function. When I load up a game, all is well until I get to the point where I have to press A (or whatever) to get into the menus, at which point I am told that the data required is unavailable and that I should try again
    later. I've waited two days and nothing has changed. When I launch an app, it just gets stuck on the loading screen too. My internet connection seems to be fine, so what is causing this? Where is the data that the console needs to launch the games and apps?
    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    i need help with my xbone everzince the new update i haven't been able to play games because the "games & apps" tab won't load anny tiles. I have great internet (90mb). And have fully reset console multiple times. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue

    Hey there!

    Sorry to hear you're unable to see your Games & apps tab—that's odd! Let's have you
    power cycle your console once more as well as

    removing and re-adding your profile
    on your Xbox One. The final step would be to reset your router/modem—you will need to unplug the power cable for that, wait 15-20 seconds, then plug it back in.



    Please let us know how it goes and if you still need help! Hopefully that resolves your issue.

    Hey Duglet lets try this:

    Lets reboot the system completely. With the console on, press and hold the power button on the console for 5-8 seconds until it shuts off. Unplug the power supply, wait about 30 seconds and then plug it in and reboot. You should see the green splash screen
    upon reboot.

    Let us know if that cleared up your problem.

  5. I just tried YouTube. It took ages to load but it did activate, however it seems to be the only thing working.

    This exact thing is happening to me! I can't play disc games or even the digital downloads…it will go to the initial load screen then go right back to my home…WTF IS THIS A $500 PAPERWEIGHT?!

  7. OK, I've found out what to do. You have to sign out, then restore your console settings to their factory defaults. You will have to reinstall everything, but the console will work fine afterwards. You won't lose any data or downloaded content, but make sure
    that you know your account's email address and password; you won't be able to load up your profile again without it.

    Games and apps won't load.

    I didn't have to delete anything. All I did was restart my xbox by holding the power for 8-10 seconds then unplugged the power cable. After I just had to sign in again.

    Hi Gamma! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

    If you are using a USB storage plugged in the console please unplug it, after this power cycle the console and try the games installed in the internal storage without plugging back the external one

    If the games and apps works like that you need to format the external storage on a Pc, if the games don't work, try to do a factory reset on the console deleting all content

    yes three or 4 times. Sometimes a game wont load. Other times apps won't load. So on and so on..

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. Today an update has been released for Xbox consoles in general, check if the update has already been done on your system, if not please check if the problem persists.

    If the problem persists even when updating the system, I suggest you try the solutions below, please.
    Solution 1:

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.
    Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

    After removing the account follow the procedure below.

    Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.
    Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.
    Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.
    Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.
    Now add your account again.

    Solution 2:

    Press the Xbox button.
    Open Settings.
    Go to Network and select Network settings.
    Select Advanced settings.
    Select Alternate MAC Address.
    Select Clear.
    Select Restart.

    Solution 3:

    Press the Xbox button on your controller.
    Go to Settings.
    Select Network.
    Select Network Settings.
    Select Advanced Network Settings.
    Select DNS Settings.
    Select Manual and enter the following:
    Primary 8.8.8.8
    Secondary 8.8.4.4

    Solution 4:

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage devices.
    Select Clear local saved games.
    Select Yes to confirm.
    Restart your console.
