    Hi all. first time posting here. I’m on the alpha ring and i recently got the newest UI update. Several of my real life friends and people online agree with me when i say the new games and apps menu is subpar, if not damaging to the flow. The last UI i could easily see what games are new on game pass, what games were free with gold, and could easily get to my updates and queue, And my favorite feature in a long time, the game randomizer button. This new update makes it seem... clunky. The randomizer button is gone with sucks also. if i want to get to games i previously bought and want to download, i can no longer just hit right bumper, i have to go to full library. the updates tab takes a while to update and is hard to get to. I can no longer easily tell what’s new on gold and gamepass. i understand i can go to gamepass and sort by newest, but it’s not working for me, it stays alphabetical, and the gold is set to where i have to go to the gamepass app or the xbox live gold store page to see what’s new. I speak for plenty of others when i say this new refresh, while innovative, is not something we want. i don’t speak for everyone, but i feel as if instead of being streamlined, it’s clunky. Thank you for reading and for working so hard.

    Xbox alpha

    Hi, Download the Xbox Insider hub app from the Microsoft store, Launch the app, On the main landing page, select Insider content. Under System, select Xbox One Update Preview. Select Join or Manage. Choose a Preview ring from the available selections.
    Alpha/Alpha skip ahead may be greyed out, as those rings are invite only.

    The new update is only out for some Alpha & Alpha skip ahead insiders at the moment.

    If you're in the Omega ring then you'll probably be the last ring to get the update before it's released to everyone.

    This has supposedly been fixed, along with a bunch of other stuff, in an update that's available for people in the preview program (alpha ring) now.

    So, if you're in the alpha ring, check for updates and you should see it there ready to install.

    If you're not in the alpha ring, or you're not in the preview program at all, I expect they'll roll out an update with a bunch of fixes in it to the public fairly soon.

    This has been a known issue for a while now and acknowledged by the Xbox Preview team and were testing a fix for this issue in the Alpha ring back in December. Since then, there has been no updates but based on this

    article     I'm assuming the issue was resolved in the Alpha ring preview update but doesn't seem to have gone live yet. There could have been some setbacks or the issue re-surfaced.

    This was being tested in the Alpha ring, which is the first ring to test preview updates and requires an invitation to join, and has preview updates with the potential to have the most bugs so it's possible it's stalled in the Alpha ring.

    My suggestion is to report the issue through the Xbox Insider Hub app, which you can do so by the report a problem option in the power menu after you have the app downloaded.

    If you join the Insider program, eventually it should get pushed to the other preview rings and you can get the fix in an upcoming preview update before it would go live.
