Games and apps queue

Hi there

This is my second issue ive had this one for a few weeks now and reported through the Xbox one X app several times but no update as of yet.

In my games and apps my console is set to instant on so all game and apps are automatically updated. The issue I have is that the games and apps queue would show you what game or app had been updated but now it doesnt and I have to hold both triggers and
y to refresh that page which it turn then shows the games and apps that have been updated.

Its getting to the point now where the section at the bottom where gold, and game pass are now not loading in either so I have to refresh the page to get them to show to.

It seems like the issue is getting worse not better and thats a concern.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

This is the first game update that ive had in the last few days and it was for PUBG and as I done what you had asked a couple of days ago I was hoping to find it in the queue.

Alas this was not the case but again I had to refresh the page with both triggers and y to get it to show up in the queue.

Im assuming that somthin in the last system update is causing this and I hope they set a fix out for it because it was working before the last update.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Power Cycle your console and see if happens again. If happens again try a
Factory Reset, you can choose here if you want to keep your games and apps installed.

Hi, thanks for a quick response. Ive tested this out with another account and I tried to install fallout shelter as i knew i hadn’t installed it before on xbox. It doesn’t display in my queue or downloaded. I also tested with a disc game too. So maybe
an account issue?

Ive tried the power cycle previously, i have just done the reset and kept my locally saved games. I wiped my external hard drives clean and now began reinstalling the games that was on there. So far so good, i have a feeling only the games that was saved
on my external hard drives corrupted so im going to get them reinstalled and not mess with them again ahaha.
