games and apps not working

games and apps not starting on 360. screen just goes black. xbox music and video apps do the same. connection. is good. i can see ads and videos but boxes that show recommendations just have a spinning circle. tried creating a guest profile but screen
goes black and profile wont load. tried every normal suggestion to fix it but nothing works.

every time i select a game app or even an option in settings it doesn't work. when i go to launch a game the message "just getting started, your game will lunch soon" flashes like an insane maniac. if anyone has the same problem or solution please help!

If you go to your settings and then into network/network settings and test network connection. It says xbox is experiencing purchase and content usage problems. That might be your issue and hopefully cleared up soon.

Same issue. I've reformatted my console and removed/reinstalled the latest update, but it still doesn't work.

 

Yeah same here.... Worked fine yesterday nothing has happened to it sence. I considered a possible power spike being the culprit but Strange for all of us in differnt time zones to hit the same issue in different time zones on the same day.... Possible
Microsoft wanting Xbox one sales to increase or is it possible their system is so primitive that malware has been introduced into their system... Regardless lack of support or even comments from their so called "staff" is highly unprofessional and I think
I might just have to sever my ties with them

 

I have the same problem atm. I used it yesterday to watch Netflix without any trouble.

Guys do not worry they said they would fix it soon so we got to wait the level V guy sent me a link and it said limited I think it might be an error so just keep hopeing don't break your xbox 360

 

Wonder if PS has issues like this , and to think we pay for this!

 

I am having this same issue. I did find a small solution to it. It only works for games that have a disc though. If you have your settings where you go to the dashboard when you start your console go to your system settings and change your startup so that
it plays the disc. Then put in the game you want to play. Turn off your 360 and start it back up. It should take you to the game and work just fine. It is slightly inconvenient to have to turn the xbox off and on just to switch games its better than it not
working at all. I hope this helps!

 

The service bulletin says Amazon and Netflix are working. Want to make sure the word gets out that they are not... just tried.

 

Netflix, Amazon, Hulu Plus are all not working... everything loads fine, and then black screen, and my console is frozen. Had this problem for the last few days with Netflix, and occasionally with Hulu Plus, now it just sucks. Did I mention that it SUCKS?


Of course, when I tried checking my network connection I got a yellow notice that "matchmaking" had some issue. WTF? And, said, go to Xbox live, for a service announcement, that I, of course, cannot locate.
